I'm Bonnie, the owner, and soaper here at Sweet Bea's. I'm a wedding planner and venue owner who tapped into the creativity of soap-making during the pandemic.
My journey began with creating bath bombs with a friend. Later, I decided to try my hand at soap making. I became addicted after making my first batch. My skin felt so soft and silky. I purchased and read tons of books and attended soap-making courses to expand my knowledge of the methods and vast array of textures, scents, and ingredients used in this process
As I gained confidence in my product, I shared them with friends and family, and they love them! I received so many rave reviews! This love affair has blossomed; thus, Sweet Bea's was born. The company is named after my grandmother Beatrice. She was the sweetest woman who taught me the value of a wholesome work ethic.
Soap-making has become my happy place. I love the creative process of working with different color palates, oils, and butters. All of our soaps are handmade in small batches from scratch, using the cold process method. Our soaps are formulated with the highest quality responsibly sourced oils and butters for gentle cleansing and condition-based scented with fragrances and essential oils. Each bar is cut, planed, beveled, individually labeled, and packaged by me with love.
